Aglaonema commutatum

Schott 1856

It reaches about 50 cm of height, leaf blades are 15 cm long.
The pattern is in two shades of green, only on the upper side.
It grows very good in the hydroculture.

In the first year at my home it bloomed, and produced fruits. Self-pollinated.
The inflorescence. On the left photo it's not quite open.
Ripening of the infructescence. Set the cursor on the photos, you'll see the date of each one.
Five months from the blooming the fruits ripened.
But not all. Here's an open fruit that didn't.
Each fruit contains only one seed.
See also the leaf in the page "Leaves Scans"
It blooms and fruits every year.
